Book Your Magical Once in a Lifetime Experience!
Cold but wonderful experience - We had a great evening with Siggi on this trip. The lights were dancing over Reykjavik as we left the city, they toyed with us for a while then disappeared.... read more Siggi’s knowledge and skills in reading all the data meant we stayed put and at 11:30, just when he said they would, they came back and treated us to a super display. The lights looked like white rolling clouds in the night sky and you didn’t really see the colour until you took your photos, but watching them roll and move above us, even in monochrome, was fantastic and then the photos brought them to life.
Be aware it gets REALLY cold out of the city at night, we got to -9 and it was bitter, the minibus is available for warm ups and Siggi always shouted when there was something to see. The hot chocolate he provided at 11:30 as we watched the lights dance above us was heavenly, a great experience and we learnt a lot about the lights too. He takes loads of photos with slow exposure and sends them after the trip, so you get some great professional shots as well as your own efforts. Wrap up super warm and enjoy!

Spectacular service, spectacular auroras - Our guide Thomas picked us up from the appointed bus stop in Reykjavik on time. We drove east toward the national park in search of a good viewing spot. Luckily... read more the sky was cloudy free. Our first views were modest but after several spots we were treated to amazing views of gray-green auroras spanning the sky in an arc and slowly moving over time. After a lot of trial and error we were able to capture images even on our phones. Thomas however went above and beyond to set up his own camera (on a tripod to facilitate the long exposures) to take images of each group at several sites. These were shared with us several days later via Dropbox and were absolutely amazing! At the last stop we also enjoyed hot chocolate ! I would suggest preparing for this trip by wearing many layers of warm clothing as it was bitter cold and windy. I highly recommend this trip - it was fantastic in all respects. While someone could drive on their own it was so nice to have an experienced guide to find optimal locations and to provide expert photography !

Amazing - I really wanted to see the Northern Lights, so I researched extensively before booking a tour to try to maximize the chances. I chose Siggi as he seemed to have... read more the most success and was definitely not disappointed. His tour last five hours from 9p-2am which is a lot longer than the other tours (others called it quits around 12am) and the Northern Lights really brightened the sky at 1 am on our tour. Siggi is very passionate about what he does and very knowledgeable. He takes amazing photos for you also. Highly recommend him!

Once in a Lifetime Experience - We haven't been able to stop thinking about our Northern Lights midnight adventure with Iceland Everywhere. Our hopes of seeing the Northern Lights were not exceptionally high at the start,... read more since, of course, the lights appear randomly and unpredictably. We caught faint glimpses about an hour into our tour, and another hour or two later, we got extremely lucky with a vibrant show. The highlight of our tour was our guide (sadly cannot remember his name but a picture of him is included in this review) who went above and beyond to hunt down the lights for us, locate the very best viewing locations, and take some absolutely incredible photos of everyone with the lights. We cannot thank Iceland Everywhere enough for this once in a lifetime experience.
